Bamboo Phylogeny Database is a secure, web-accessible database for all DNA sequence and related morphological data. Members of the the BPG (Bamboo Phylogeny Group) will have accounts that allow them to upload data as well as monitor taxon-specific data when it is included in the databases. The three goals of the database are to (1) effectively store the large amount of data being produced for the project, (2) provide an easily accessed system to the general public of bamboo data once the project is completed, and (3) stimulate collaboration between researchers of the BPG.
